Terms and conditions

These terms apply to everyone who uses Salary PayPack, a product of Ashtadasha Tech Solutions Private Limited.

Last updated: 3 October 2026

1. Who we are

Salary PayPack is payroll and statutory-compliance software owned and run by Ashtadasha Tech Solutions Private Limited, Bengaluru, India ("we", "us"). "You" means the organisation that subscribes, and the people it allows to use the software.

By subscribing to or using Salary PayPack you agree to these terms, the Privacy policy and the Cancellation and refunds policy.

2. What the service is

Salary PayPack keeps employee and salary records, processes payroll and produces registers, returns and files that Indian labour and tax laws ask for. It is used through a web browser; nothing is installed or shipped.

We may add, change or withdraw features. We will not remove a feature you depend on without notice on the website or by email.

3. Your account

One organisation has one account, under one email address and one Organisation ID. A consultant may run many establishments under the consultant's own organisation.

You decide who in your organisation may use the software and what each may do. You are responsible for what is done under your logins, and for keeping passwords and one-time codes private.

4. Your information, and checking what the software produces

You enter the information the software works from, and you are responsible for its being correct and for having the right to record it.

We keep statutory rates, ceilings, slabs and due dates up to date with care, and record the source of each. Laws change and differ by state. You must check every payslip, register, return and payment the software produces before you rely on it, issue it, file it or pay on it. Filing and payment remain your responsibility as the employer.

The software is not legal, tax or accounting advice.

5. Fees and payment

The price depends on the number of employees, as shown on the Pricing page on the day you subscribe or renew. Taxes such as GST are added at the rate in force.

You may pay monthly or yearly, in advance. We issue a proforma invoice for each period and a tax invoice when payment is received. If your organisation deducts tax at source, give us the certificate so that the payment can be matched.

A change of price applies from your next renewal, not during a period already paid for.

6. Renewal, and what happens if a payment is missed

A subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We send reminders before a payment falls due.

If a payment is not received by its due date you have 15 days of grace. After that the account becomes read-only: you can see and download everything, but cannot add or change records, until the payment is made. Your records are not removed.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time. The Cancellation and refunds policy on this website says what happens and when money is returned; it is part of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

You will not use the software unlawfully, try to reach another organisation's data, interfere with the service, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.

9. Ownership

The software, its design and its name belong to Ashtadasha Tech Solutions Private Limited. Your subscription lets you use it; it does not transfer ownership.

The information you enter belongs to you. You can download your registers and reports at any time while your account is open, including when it is read-only.

10. Records are kept, not deleted

Salary PayPack does not delete records. A record that is no longer wanted is archived, every change is written to an audit trail, and both are kept for seven years, because labour and tax law require registers to be kept. The Privacy policy says more.

11. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and to back up its data, but we do not promise that it will never be interrupted. We will tell you on the website or by email of planned maintenance.

Support is by the phone and email shown on the Contact us page.

12. Our responsibility to you

If the software is at fault, tell us and we will correct it as quickly as we reasonably can.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect loss, or for penalties, interest or damages arising from a filing or payment you made without checking it.

13. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or stays unpaid, after telling you and giving you a reasonable time to put it right.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will announce an important change on the website or by email before it applies.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction.
